I miss the old stories.
My word, how mortals take the gods to task!
All their afflictions come from us, we hear.
And what of their own failings? Greed and folly
double the suffering in the lot of man.
-The Odyssey, Book 1, lines 48-51
Carrion has everyone thinking that it's Light that wants to take this whole circus down. And maybe he does. By coming over to Asgard I've found a small respite away from the madness and poison of Neflheim, away from him.
But I will have to come back, and when I do I am going to make my displeasure at being caged truly felt. I won't do it Light's way. I'll do my best to win, to survive, but those angels will suffer. Both of them.
I've always wanted to kill a god, to get back at Divinity for what it did to me. To my sons. This may be as close as I ever get. I shall not waste the chance.
